Life is good! I’m on my way to Hawaii for a six day photo shoot with REI. FYI, here are the contents of my suitcase: sunscreen, bikini, shades. The end

… Guess I should have packed a few more items of clothing.
When I found out that one of the hotel bars had an open mic tonight, I knew I needed to get my hands on a ukelele. Luckily, I made friends with Alex, another performer, and he lent me his. I sang “what could be better” live for the first time. I was a bit nervous to play in the birthplace of my favorite instrument. Luckily the crowd was laid back (imagine that in Hawaii) and no one threw tomatoes at me for being such a novice uke player.
